TERMS and CONDITIONS

 

 

Terms:  Net 30 with approved credit.  COD is not available.  Prepayment is accepted in form of company check, MASTERCARD or VISA.  International orders must be prepaid or on letter of credit basis. 

Credit Cards:  When prepaying with credit card, the card information including name on card, card number, expiration date and type of card should be faxed to MasterWorks Décor’s Customer Service Department, 704-399-0140.  The credit card will be charged at the time order is released to production. 

Minimum Order:  Orders totaling less than $400 will be charged a $30 minimum handling charge.

Lead-time:  Normal lead-time is 4 weeks from date order is approved.  If expedited shipment is required, please contact MasterWorks Décor’s Customer Service Department 

Freight:  All orders are FOB Charlotte, NC.  Shipments are sent prepaid with freight charges added to invoice unless specified on the order as “Freight Collect” with carrier name provided.  Special boxing and crating will require extra charges.

Drop Shipments:  Residential orders may be drop shipped.  Note: common carrier deliveries to residential addresses incur higher freight charges.

Additions/Cancellations: Additions to orders can be made up to 5 working days prior to scheduled shipment of your order.  Due to the custom nature of the product, cancellations may not be made after order is in production.  Restocking charges will be 25% of total price. 

Back Orders:  All back orders will be shipped as soon as possible and will be kept on file unless cancelled in writing prior to shipping. 

Damaged Goods:  Carriers are liable for breakage in transit, concealed or apparent.  Examine the  shipment at once.  Report any damage to the delivering carrier within 15 days.  They will make an inspection report.  Send this report along with other supporting papers to the carrier with your claim.  Please notify MasterWorks Décor’s Customer Service Department of any damage received via UPS or RPS within 5 days of receipt.  We will in turn file a claim with UPS/RPS.  Damaged merchandise must remain in the original master carton with all packing from the carton.  UPS/RPS will inspect the damaged merchandise and authorize pick up accordingly.   

Returns:  Returns are accepted only by prior authorization from MasterWorks Décor’s Customer Service Department.  Requests are to be made within 7 days of receipt of order.  A return authorization number will be assigned for an approved return.  Returns are subject to a 25% restocking fee. 

Measurements:  All product measurements and specifications are approximate and subject to change without notice. 

Warranty Information:  For the period of one year from date of purchase, MasterWorks Décor, will, at its option, repair or replace and return the covered items found to be defective in material and workmanship at no charge except for shipping cost.  This Warranty does not cover damage by addition or alteration of the product, accidental damage or loss, abuse, failure to provide reasonable and necessary maintenance or normal expected wear.  This Warranty extends only to the original purchaser of the product and does not give any rights to any other person.
